Due to the fact that there are so many downed power lines, there are several schools that are canceling classes today.

Schools in the Shreveport and Bossier areas, as well as the rest of the Ark-La-Tex, are closing due to the threat of winter weather.

A flu-like illness has forced Mansfield Schools to close today. This impacts only the elementary, middle and high school in Mansfield.

Because of the winter precipitation we are expecting overnight, Bossier schools and centers will be closed on Tuesday, January 16th.

Record rainfall has resulted in another day of closings for the Ark-La-Tex. Below is a list of the closings for Thursday, March 10, 2016. We will continue to update this list and our social media pages as more information is made available.
