Saturday Election: DOTD Boss Explains Proposed Amendment 3

State Department of Transportation and Development Dr. Shawn Wilson talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about Saturday's election, specifically the proposed amendment to the Louisiana Constitution that would affect future state highway funding.

The amendment, the third of three on Saturday's ballot, ""will establish a 'construction subfund' within the State's Transportation Trust Fund to contain any new fuel tax revenue, which could not be used for State Employee benefits or wages.

Wilson explains the specifics of the proposed measure and says, if passed, will make the DOTD "put our money where our mouth is.":
