State Transportation Boss Says Cable Barriers Save Lives

Dr. Shawn Wilson, Louisiana's Secretary of the Department of Transportation and Development visits with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty. Dr. Wilson is in Shreveport to oversee the beginning of the construction of about 10 miles of cable barriers on Hwy 3132, which Dr. Wilson says will be a literal life saver for Louisiana's drivers.

Dr. Wilson gives KEEL listeners the specifics of the building plan, including the tentative completion date, and says that the cost is "a very small price to pay for the lives we're going to save."
