Another Super Load Will Slow Down Traffic in Shreveport
Remember that super load that tied up traffic for almost a week in Shreveport-Bossier? Be prepared -- because another large load will move through later this week.
According to Louisiana DoTD, Edwards Moving and Rigging will begin moving a very tall Cold Box from The Port of Caddo-Bossier to Eastman Chemical in Longview, Texas, Friday, July 15, at 9 a.m.
The convoy will average 1 mile per hour each day for three days. The transporter will have one truck pulling and another pushing the combined weight of 539,000 pounds.
The transport, like the last one, will also involve SWEPCO raising wires, and 10 to 12 police officers will also be assisting. It's recommended you plan your route accordingly.
DoTD says this load is much like the one Edwards Moving and Rigging transported in July 2015, and it'll travel the same route.
