
Super Load Makes Its Way Through East Texas
The super load convoy carrying a tall cold box is expected to cause delays in East Texas until Tuesday afternoon. The convoy will begin moving around 6:30 this morning and will average 5 miles per hour. Officials expect major delays on roadways until they reach their final destination in Longview.
Today
6:30 a.m. — Convoy resumes from its overnight stop between DeBerry and Carthage.
7 a.m. — Toward Carthage at NE Loop (La Salle).
10:30 a.m. — Turns right onto U.S. 59 toward Marshall.
1:30 p.m. — Turns north on FM 959 near Tatum.
2:30 p.m. — Turns left on Texas 43 toward Tatum.
4 p.m. – Transporter parks in Tatum for the night.
Tuesday
6:30 a.m. — Convoy resumes, heading north from Tatum.
8:30 a.m. — Passes Knox Lee Power Plant.
11 a.m. — Crosses Sabine River on Texas 149 toward Longview.
2 p.m. — Arrives at Callahan Road/Eastman Chemical entrance.
