A Plain Dealing man could be behind bars for the rest of his life after he was found to be a multiple offender in a session of Caddo Parish District Court Thursday.

Damione Brock (d.o.b. 9-4-78) was ordered to serve a total of 81 and one-half years by Judge Craig Marcotte following a multiple offender hearing Thursday.

Brock’s sentence includes 60 years at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence as a multiple offender, three years each on three counts of resisting an officer with force, five years each on two charges of battery of a police officer and two and one half years for attempting to disarm an officer.

Judge Marcotte ordered all sentences be served consecutively.

Brock had originally entered a guilty plea in September, 2010 to manufacture/distribution of CDS Sch. II (powder cocaine) rather than face a jury trial.   He was arrested in July, 2009 by Caddo Parish deputies following a traffic stop.
