It’s the final weekend for Memphis the Musical at Shreveport Little Theater. Tickets are $25 and show time is at 7:30pm Friday and Saturday and 2pm Sunday.
The Taste of Culture is at Diamond Jacks Saturday from 6-9pm in support of the Multicultural Center of the South in downtown Shreveport. Tickets are $50.
Raise the Roof for St. Jude at The Stage in Bossier Saturday starting at 6pm. Tickets are $100 and the event will feature music, food and a silent auction item. The goal is to raise money to go towards the cost of the St. Jude Dream Home so more money goes to the kids of St. Jude!
The Stage Center has their presentation of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas going on now through August 4th but you can see it this weekend Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2pm at Marjorie Lyons Playhouse on the campus of Centenary College. Adult tickets are $22, seniors are $20, $15 for students.
The Krewe of Atlas Coronation XI is Saturday starting at 6:30pm at the Shreveport Convention Center and they’ll be unveiling the new royalty for the upcoming 2019 Mardi Gras season! The theme is Peace, Love, Atlas and the party will feature a booze barrel raffle, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction and music. No tickets will be sold at the door.
