A Shreveport man's been arrested for allegedly stealing money from the elderly in an investment scheme. Caddo Sheriff's spokeswoman Cindy Chadwick says 49-year-old Stanley Mangham was employed as an agent with a national investment company and convinced three victims, all over the age of 65, to invest their money with him. But she say he, instead, deposited their checks into his own business account and then later withdrew the money. In all, he's accused of taking almost $254-thousand from his victims. Mangham has been booked into Caddo Correctional Center on charges of theft of assets of an aged person.
