Man Arrested for Choking and Robbing East Texas Visitor at El Dorado

A 45-year-old man has been arrested for a robbery inside a local casino. An east Texas man was walking into the men's room at El Dorado, when someone walked up behind him and choked him unconscious. Then he emptied the man's pockets and took off.

A witness saw part of the attack, and surveillance video footage showed the two men as they walked into the restroom. Detectives identified the suspect as John Swinney of Shreveport. He was questioned by detectives, then booked into the Shreveport City Jail on a simple robbery charge.
