Shreveport High-Speed Chase Leads to Felony Arrest
SHREVEPORT, LA- Arrest made following police pursuit
In the early hours of April 21, 2024, at approximately 1 a.m., Shreveport Police Officers initiated a traffic stop in the Mooretown neighborhood. The vehicle in question failed to comply, resulting in a pursuit by patrol officers.
After a pursuit, which concluded in the 7000 block of Karen Street, the driver was identified as 19-year-old Laanthony Hobley. Upon further investigation, officers discovered firearms and narcotics within the vehicle. Additionally, it was determined that several occupants of the vehicle were minors.
Laanthony Hobley has been arrested and charged with the following offenses:
- - One count of aggravated flight from an officer
- - Three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor
- - One count of distribution of narcotics
