Man Arrested by Bossier PD for Stealing Shreveport Officer’s Gun

Bossier City police have arrested the man who stole a Shreveport police officer’s rifle this past week.

Here's information released by BCPD:

Detectives with the BCPD’s Property Crimes Unit arrested Christian Jovan Hendricks, 23, of Bossier City for taking the Shreveport officer’s department issued M-16 rifle from out of his personal vehicle in the 4800 block of San Antone Drive on Tuesday, January 20.  

Detectives arrested Hendricks this morning after receiving information that linked him to the theft. Detectives also recovered the officer’s weapon from Hendricks and were able to connect himto a second vehicle burglary in the 4800 block of San Antone and third in the 1000 block of Dot Ave that occurred that same morning.

Hendricks was booked into the Bossier City Jail on three counts of simple burglary.
