Man Stabbed On Shreveport City Bus Near Stoner Avenue

Detectives with the Shreveport Police Department are appealing to the community for assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a weekend stabbing aboard a city bus.

The attack took place at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, near the intersection of Stoner Avenue and Louisiana Avenue. According to police reports, a 48-year-old male passenger was assaulted while riding the transit vehicle.

Emergency medical responders transported the victim to Willis-Knighton North for immediate treatment. Authorities confirmed that the victim’s injuries were non-life-threatening, and medical staff expect him to make a full recovery.

Investigators are actively reviewing evidence and seeking to identify the individual responsible for the assault.
