LSU Shreveport Students Donate to Rescue Mission
LSU-S students are donating thousands of dollars this morning to the Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission. The students include the LSU Shreveport Rotaract Club, Lead Corps, and Accounting Club.
They will present a $10-thousand dollar check to the Rescue Mission today in the Circle of Excellence Plaza on the LSU-S campus. The gift represents the proceeds from the 5th Annual 'Black Tie, Or Not' benefit ball that was held at Sam's Town Ball Room on March 10th.
This donation brings to $50,000 the amount of money students have raised for the Rescue Mission since 2009.
