Late Night Fire at DeSoto Parish School

A fire broke out late Monday evening at the North DeSoto Schools campus in Stonewall. According to Superintendent Cade Brumley, The structure was a temporary classroom behind the lower elementary school used for pre-kindergarten programs.

Brumley said the building is a total loss and the children will be relocated to another room for the remainder of the school year. Classes will be in session today.
