Breaking: Four Found Dead in Keithville Home – Latest Details

SHREVEPORT, LA - A tragedy just south of Shreveport where Caddo deputies were called to a home in the Keithville area. The sheriff's office got a welfare call in the 10000 block of Mustang Circle.

Once deputies arrived on the scene, a man inside the home refused to speak with the deputies and he barricaded himself inside the home. Just a few minutes later, the deputies heard a gunshot coming from inside the home.

After hearing this, they sent a drone inside the home to see what kind of situation they were dealing with. Images from the drone showed there were four victims inside the home who were possibly deceased, including the suspect.

After securing the residence, Caddo Parish Fire District 6 arrived on the scene and declared all four individuals dead.

Neighbors of the suspect informed investigators that the suspect was possibly a doomsday prepper. Because of that, calls went out to the Shreveport Fire Department Bomb Unit to make sure it was safe to enter the home. Once the scene was deemed secure, the investigators began their preliminary investigation.

A friend of the man tells KEEL News that he was not a doomsday prepper, but there may have been a feud with that neighbor.

The investigation continues. Names of the victims have not yet been released.
