Governor John Bel Edwards says that he'll call a special legislative session later this year if the state's "budget hole" exceeds $300 million. The Governor says the the way to solve Louisiana's budget trouble is a "balanced approach" of increased revenue and budget cuts. But with recent cuts to the state's TOPS college scholarship program and other popular programs, John Bel makes the point that though citizens don't want higher taxes, they want their popular programs maintained.
