Shreveport is never in short supply of epic dinners. We love a good pop-up dinner and a perfectly crafted wine dinner. A Facebook page is dedicated to alerting foodies in Shreveport-Bossier of new restaurants and food experiences offered at some of our favorite eateries.

It will be "A Very Spicy Chinese New Year" by Noble Savage and the Pepper Pals will take over the Nobel Savage Bar on Friday, January 31st. The limited menu looks amazing and it's one thing that our community has been begging for, homemade noodles. Keep in mind this will be a spicy dish, so if you can't handle the heat, it might be best to sit this one out.

The special dish is called Lava Noodles, it's spicy braised chicken with green onions, mushrooms, cabbage, and noodles made in-house. The dish is topped with a marinated soft-boiled egg, chili crisp, and Lava Sauce. They will also have a radish and jalapeno quick pickle and cold smashed cucumber and garlic.

we can thank Chang Liu the owner of Blanket Fort Creations, she wanted to celebrate Chinese New Year by cooking some of her favorite foods, and of course, she picked some of the best chefs to collaborate with. Liu had multiple people step in to bring her vision to life, the Pepper Pals, Chef Kacie Wright, Shilpan Patel (owner of Noble Savage, Chef Jess, and the entire Noble Savage Shreveport team.

"So we have a saying that translates roughly to 'Dumplings when you start your travels and Noodles when you arrive' When my sister gets home for Chinese New Year we make noodles to welcome her. This menu is a welcome home for everyone. It's the hearty home cooking you crave when you've been gone." Said Chang Liu

Noble savage is located at 417 Texas St, Shreveport, LA and the "Very Spicy Chinese New Year" menu starts being served at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31st.
