Shreveport Man Arrested For Stalking Incident

On December 9, 2024, at approximately 6:00 PM, Shreveport Police officers responded to a report of a stalking incident in the 3800 block of Pond Road.

 
The victim reported being followed in a vehicle by her ex-boyfriend, John Witt. Officers were informed en route that the victim had an active protective order against Witt.

 
Upon arrival, officers located Witt and took him into custody. He was arrested on charges of stalking, violation of a protective order, and resisting arrest. Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident.
