We actually learned of Scott's incredible dedication to those he works with from Katherine Adams, who penned this amazing nomination letter which made Scott an easy selection as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.
We would like to introduce you to Scott Fleming, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Storer Services. Scott leads a team of 16 sales professionals across Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas, yet he makes each of us feel seen, valued, and supported on a personal level. He goes far beyond the role of a leader—he is a mentor, encourager, and most of all a true friend.
Scott has made it his personal mission to ensure that every member of his team grows both professionally and personally. He challenges us to advance in our careers, provides guidance for our financial futures, and always encourages us to see the potential within ourselves—even when we may not see it yet. He has a gift for recognizing the good in people and inspiring them to rise to their fullest potential. What truly sets Scott apart is his compassion and understanding. He cares deeply about our families and our lives outside of work. If we need time to care for our children, attend to family responsibilities, or simply take a moment to breathe, Scott makes sure we can do so without guilt or fear of letting others down. His empathy and flexibility create an environment where we can succeed at work while also honoring what matters most at home. Scott’s leadership is rooted in kindness. He leads with humility, respect, and an unwavering belief in his people. He creates opportunities, celebrates our wins, and supports us through challenges. His actions consistently remind us that true leadership is not about authority, but about service, care, and kindness. For these reasons and many more, I cannot think of anyone more deserving of being recognized for their kindness than Scott Fleming. He truly embodies what it means to lead with heart.
