Ronnie Jones, Chairman of Louisiana's Gaming Control Board, talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the Governor's extension of his COVID 19 emergency declaration and how that affects the reopening of gaming casinos across the state.

Jones tells KEEL listeners that "all (the casinos) are really anxious to reopen but I can tell you that each property manager is very consistent in their concern for public health for not only their customers but their employees."

Jones also explains that the boats, when they reopen, will be under a number of the "phase in" safety requirements, including limiting the number of players to maintain social distancing and employees wearing masks.
