Felony Theft Suspect Wanted by Shreveport Police
Detectives with Shreveport Police are seeking the arrest of a man in connection with an attempted armed robbery and felony theft.
On Christmas Eve SPD responded to an armed robbery at a home on Fern Avenue. The victim reported that Clark came to his house and was allowed inside. The victim also told SPD that he had met Clark on the dating app Grindr.
Once inside, Clark allegedly pulled a gun, pointed it at the victim, and demanded money while making threats to shoot and kill him. Clark tried to intimidate the victim by telling him that more people were waiting outside.
As the two exited the house, Clark allegedly took the victim’s cell phone and fled the scene in a car. During the investigation, detectives confirmed prior incidents where Clark had taken money, identification, and credit cards from the same victim.
Charges:
-Attempted Armed Robbery (Felony)
-Theft Between $750 and $5,000 (Felony)
From SPD:
"Arrest warrants have been issued for Corey D. Clark. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact the Shreveport Police Department or Caddo Crime Stoppers. Tips may be submitted anonymously."
