Eleven More Members Named to Women’s Commission

The Shreveport Mayor's Women's Commission has eleven new members. That brings its total membership to twenty-six. The commission has been around since 1984 and works to identify the needs of shreveport women and children and then provide innovative methods to address those needs. This year, the group plans to pursue projects focused on education, advocacy, and quality of life issues.
