Another week, another New Orleans Saints game, another record for Drew Brees.

The last time we saw Drew Brees on the field, it was in New Orleans, on Monday Night Football, and he was becoming the NFL's all-time leader in passing yards. He took single possession of that record, breaking Peyton Manning's number.

But today's record book notation wasn't a re-write, just an addition...

Drew Brees threw his 500th career touchdown pass. He is now only the fourth player to ever reach the number. Joining Tom Brady, Brett Favre, and the all-time leader with 539, Peyton Manning.

With Brady still playing, he's chasing Manning's record as well. Brady is a few touchdowns ahead of Brees, so if he wanted to bring that record to New Orleans, he'd need to catch up to Brady, and pass him on his way to Manning's record.

Brady and Brees are both in the twilight of their careers, so it won't just be a race against each other and Manning, but it's also a race against time for both of them.
