Blayne Weaver and Logan Sledge, stars of the Keith Huff drama, "A Steady Rain," opens Friday at Centenary College's Marjorie Lyons Playhouse.

The play, a Stage Center  production, is described by one reviewer:

"'A Steady Rain' explores the complexities of a lifelong bond tainted by domestic affairs, violence, and the rough streets of Chicago. Joey and Denny have been best friends since kindergarten, and after working together for several years as policemen in Chicago, they are practically family: Joey helps out with Denny's wife and kids; Denny keeps Joey away from the bottle. But when a domestic disturbance call takes a turn for the worse, their friendship is put on the line."

Weaver and Sledge, both area natives, have extensive credits in theater and beyond. Weaver is an actor, writer and director in Los Angeles and New York. Sledge Returned to Louisiana in 2014 as Assistant Professor of Theater at Centenary College following a stretch of acting and study in California.

The play will have three performances, Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 and a Sunday matinee at 2pm. For more information and to purchase tickets, JUST CLICK HERE!
