A new study from the employment website, HireAHelper, took a close-up look at the municipalities around the USA where salaries for working moms are the highest.

The report also found that nearly 72% of all mothers are employed full-time or part-time, that working moms are most often employed in education, health care and social assistance and that the median wage for full-time working moms is around $45,000.

HireAHelper says that In the Shreveport-Bossier area, more than 7 out of 10 working moms are on the job full-time. The report also shows that, when adjusted for the cost of living, full-time working moms in the ArkLaTex earn a median yearly salary of more than $41,000, slightly below the national average.

And how does our part of the country stack up compared to the rest of the US? Well, despite living costs that tend to be lower than average, moms living and working in the southern states are paid less compared to those in other parts of the country, specifically the northeast USA.
