DeSoto Schools Face Serious Budget Cuts
DeSoto Schools are facing serious budget cuts this year.
Desoto Superintendent Dr. Cade Brumley tells KEEL News: "We will not ask for a tax increase. We will live within our means."
He adds: "Keep teacher salaries well above the regional average."
Brumley attributes the budget problem to lower sales tax receipts and higher health care costs.
