Cassidy on Expanded Testing, More Funding for Cities [VIDEO]
United States Senator Bill Cassidy talks to 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the current state of the COVID 19 pandemic, his call for increased testing and plans to reopen the American economy.
Cassidy tells KEEL listeners that he favors voluntary testing in Coronavirus hot spots to more quickly identify COVID 19 patients, provide quicker treatment and more rapidly build a community immunity while keeping those more vulnerable to the illness safe.
The Senator also discusses the possibility of further aid to communities facing financial hardship, pointing out that when looking at massive funding shortfalls, cities will be forced to cut essential services, including fire and police.
