Caddo Parish Detectives Investigating Teenager Shot in Vivian

On Easter Sunday evening the Vivian Police Department was called to Pardue Street to reports of a shooting.

Police showed up to the house, and when they went inside, they found a 16 year-old young woman on the floor with a gunshot wound to her upper-body. Paramedics were called to the scene where the pronounced the girl dead on the scene. The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office was called to the scene to assist in the investigation.

Investigators with CPSO are still investigating this incident. Asking witnesses and loved ones of the victim questions to determine what (if any) foul play was involved in this tragedy.

UPDATE: The victim has been named by the Caddo Coroner as 16 year-old Miranda Clements, and the shooting has been deemed a homicide.
