Caddo Commission President Steven Jackson talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert and Erin about the recent Shreveport City Council vote shooting down a proposal by Mayor Ollie Tyler to borrow $30 million to fund a new, downtown sports arena.

Jackson tells KEEL listeners that he - and other local elected officials - felt excluded by the the secretive process of the Tyler administration in their planning to put together a deal between the city, the New Orleans Pelicans and a Birmingham, Alabama developer to build a multi-purpose sports / retail complex at downtown's Cross Bayou.
