Caddo Commission President Calls Elio Deal 'Cluster###k'

Caddo Commission President Steven Jackson told 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty that, in his opinion, the agreement that originally called for Elio Motors to occupy a portion of the former General Motors plant is "a cluster###k" Jackson also said that he would refuse to meet with Paul Elio under the guidelines stipulated by the auto company owner.

"There's been an election since then," Jackson pointed out to KEEL listeners in criticizing moves previously made by the Commission. A number of members involved in the original deal are no longer part of the Parish's representative body. Jackson also pointed out that Elio "Should not be (dealing from a position of strength)" in his offer to meet with Commission members, but only if they would sign a non-disclosure agreement.
