Brian Kelly Holds First Meeting with LSU Football Team [VIDEO]

New LSU football coach Brian Kelly held a meeting with the team to explain to the guys why he decided to move from the storied Notre Dame program to Baton Rouge.

What Did Coach Kelly Tell LSU Players?

"I am here because I wanted to coach the very best players in the country that has the best resources in the country and a team that plays in the best conference in the country."  Kelly also says "I love developing football players and student athletes in all facets. That player development is what drives me. I get to coach LSU football players, the best in the country. Why wouldn't I be here?"

This was much more like a business meeting than a warm and fuzzy meeting. Kelly really does sound all business.

In the video LSU posted on Twitter, Kelly is seen addressing all of the players who gathered to meet the new boss. Kelly was also introduced to LSU football operations during the first tour.

Kelly is being welcomed all across the state. Billboards have gone up from Shreveport to New Orleans welcoming the new captain of the LSU Tiger football program.
