Bradford and Perkins Speak Out about Racial Divide in Shreveport
Tempers flared and emotions ran rampant during the Tuesday Shreveport City Council meeting. Several residents got up to speak and made some pretty scathing accusations in discussing the appointment of Ben Raymond as Police Chief.
We caught up with Councilman Willie Bradford who did have some reservations on Monday and asked for a private meeting with the Chief. That meeting happened and Bradford tells us he was able to get all of his questions answered.
Mayor Adrian Perkins also addressed the crowd in the chamber and those watching the broadcast. He told them it is time for our city to come together and get behind the chief.
