Shreveport Police Chief

Tempers flared and emotions ran rampant during the Tuesday Shreveport City Council meeting. Several residents got up to speak and made some pretty scathing accusations in discussing the appointment of Ben Raymond as Police Chief.

It's going to be a stressful week for Shreveport on the crime fighting front. Many in the police department are anxiously awaiting the Mayor's choice of police chief. He's expected to submit a name to the city council at the Tuesday meeting.

Alan Crump has been on medical leave since November, but he has been collecting the police chief's check. That ends today.
