More than three dozen people were "arrested" today by Bossier Parish sheriff's deputies.  Then they were hauled off to "jail" and held there until they could make bail.

Of course, they weren't really arrested and they weren't really locked up.  They were taken to the Texas Roadhouse on Gould Drive in Bossier City where they solicited their friends, neighbors, and relatives to donate to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.  All of the arrestees knew in advance that they were going to be arrested -- they just didn't know where or when.  The goal of the annual fund drive was to raise $20,000.
