Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson Invests Big in Shreveport’s Entertainment Future
A green light for Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson. He will be getting $50 million dollars in state incentives to invest in our area to bring his G-Unit film and television production company to the region.
Jackson is also planning to invest more than $120 million of his own dollars into this plan. But, he's not getting a blank check from the state.
Who Will Manage the State Money
An oversight committee made up of the Louisiana Economic Development Secretary and local leaders will have control over how the money is spent. They will review his plans before signing off on the spending.
