Shreveport Man Arrested Following Alma Street Shooting Case

Shreveport Police Department responded to the intersection of Alma Street and Linwood Avenue regarding multiple reports of shots fired.

When SPD Officers made contact with the victim, they stated that the suspect fired shots at him without provocation. The victim also told Police that he returned at least one shot during the incident. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Investigators processed the scene and collected multiple items of evidentiary value as part of the investigation.

SPD Detectives came up with Kyron Norris as the suspect in the shooting. Following an interview with investigators, Norris was arrested and charged with:

· Illegal Use of a Weapon

· Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property

· Obstruction of Justice

Norris was transported to the Shreveport City Jail.

The investigation remains ongoing.
