Yesterday, the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle crash on West Bert Kouns Industrial Loop.

When Deputies got to the scene, they learned that the driver of the at-fault vehicle had fled the scene before CPSO could arrived in a silver Ford F-250 .

CPSO Deputies, along with the Shreveport Police Department, searched the surrounding area looking for the driver. The suspect was found at the Blue Ridge Mobile Home Park.

The man was identified as 38 year-old Braden Contario. During a pat-down search, deputies found suspected methamphetamine in Contario's pants pocket.

Contario was arrested and taken to the Caddo Correctional Center, where he was booked on charges that included:

-Hit-and-run driving

-Possession of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance

-An outstanding warrant through Bossier City

-Several other traffic-related offenses linked to the crash

The investigation is ongoing.
