It was found to be improperly stored a couple of weeks ago at an area leased by Explo Systems.

That’s about half of the roughly six-million pounds that authorities say was found at the site of the explosives recycler in Webster Parish.

The effort to properly separate quantities of the explosives and store it securely began more than a week ago. Crews are back at work today.

The move had forced a voluntary evacuation in the Doyline community.
