Wear red on Friday to support the American Heart Association

The American Heart Association, Sportspectrum and Christus Health Shreveport/Bossier to bring Wear Red Day to northwest Louisiana.

Friday kicks off with a run/walk from the parking lot of Sportspectrum, starting at 7 a.m. We are encouraging people to come and walk, run and celebrate heart month.

Heart disease is the #1 killer of women, which is the reason the Go Red for Women movement is so important.

Go Red for Women raises awareness, encourages prevention and educates women on healthy steps they can take now to live a longer, strong life.
