April 1, 2011 Acting on a tip, the Bossier Sheriff's Office -- along with Louisiana State Police and the Bienville Sheriff's Department -- located a working meth lab in the 4100 block of Highway 154 last night. There, they found 2-liter bottles containing all the necessary ingredients to make meth using the "shake and bake" method

Today, just after 11:00 a.m., Louisiana State Police Troop G responded to a single vehicle crash just south of Athens in Claiborne Parish. A Ruston man was killed in the crash.
According to investigating Troopers, 52-year-old Jimmie Richardson was traveling north on LA 154 in a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado when the vehicle approached a hill and curve to the right.
