What some might bill as "horseplay" has claimed the life of a Converse, Louisiana, man. State Police say William Baldree was a passenger in a pickup truck driven by Joshua Fisher, also of Converse. Troopers say they were north bound on Louisiana Highway 481 in Desoto Parish when Baldree climbed out of the passenger window and onto the roof of the truck. They say when he tried to climb back in he fell and was run over by the truck. He was air-lifted to LSU Hospital where he died from his injuries. Troopers say the driver was not impaired but alcohol use by Baldree is suspected.
