Pulled Over for Traffic Violations…Arrested on Drug Charges

Two drug arrests in Bossier Parish over the weekend…that stemmed from traffic stops. Bossier sheriff’s deputies pulled 22-year-old Christopher Zamora of Shreveport over on Highway 80 in Haughton — because he had an expired license tag and expired vehicle inspection. He consented to a search of his vehicle — where a deputy found one suspected marijuana joint and three suspected pot roaches in a side compartment. He also had four active warrants out of Shreveport…AND his 8-month-old daughter was in the vehicle with him.

20-year-old Alex Rogers of Hosston was pulled over on I-220 West for driving erratically…and also with an expired vehicle inspection sticker and no proof of insurance. Deputies found three grams of suspected marijuana in a pill bottle, a glass smoking pipe, and an open bottle of whiskey when they searched HIS car. Both men are now in Bossier Max on numerous charges.
