A man wanted for burglarizing a storage building in the 3100 block of U.S. 80 has turned himself in.

Detectives say 53-year-old Charles Elvis Philyaw of Haughton surrendered to his parole officer on a parole violation, and on warrants from Bossier Parish.

Philyaw was wanted for stealing almost $80,000 worth of equipment during two separate burglaries in March. He was identified as the burglar after being seen on the business' surveillance video.

He's been booked into the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility on warrants for simple burglary and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. His bond is set at $70,000.
