Bossier City Teen Seriously Hurt in I-220 Wreck Dies From His Injuries
A teenager seriously injured in a Bossier City crash last night has died of his injuries. Bossier City spokesman Mark Natale says 17-year-old Joshua Gibson was exiting I-220 West at Swan Lake Road, when he lost control of his SUV, causing it to roll several times. One of his passengers, 18-year-old Cody Mauldin, wasn’t wearing a seat belt, and was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to LSU Health Shreveport, where he died overnight from his injuries. Gibson and his other passenger, 17-year-old Nicholas Housley — both of Bossier — were treated at Willis-Knighton Bossier and released.
