SHREVEPORT, LA-   Detectives need assistance in locating possible suspects in recent homicide

The Shreveport Police Department is actively seeking the public's assistance in locating two individuals wanted for questioning in connection with a deadly shooting incident.

On May 1, 2024, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 800 block of West 70th Street. Upon arrival, they discovered a 17-year-old male victim who had been transported to a local hospital by a private automobile. Tragically, the victim was pronounced deceased upon arrival at the hospital.

Detectives from the Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Unit initiated an investigation and spoke with 20-year-old Bryson Turner, who had driven the victim to the hospital. Turner was found to be uncooperative and was subsequently arrested for obstruction of justice.

Further investigation revealed that multiple individuals were involved in the shooting, resulting in the tragic loss of life. The Shreveport Police Department is now seeking the public's assistance in locating two individuals for questioning: 28-year-old Marcus Brown and 28-year-old DeAndre Daniel.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Marcus Brown or DeAndre Daniel is urged to contact the Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Unit immediately at 318-673-7300 #3. Your cooperation is vital in bringing those responsible to justice and ensuring the safety of our community.

Suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
