Weekend Movie Filming Traffic Issues

Some heavily-traveled roads will be tied up for movie filming today. from now until 8 tonight, the off-ramp of Arthur Ray Teague Parkway from the Shreveport-Barksdale Bridge heading east will be closed, as will one eastbound lane on the Shreveport-Barksdale Bridge. And from 1 til 4 this afternoon, the southbound lanes of Clyde Fant Parkway between Shreveport-Barksdale Highway and Preston Avenue will be closed. Movie industry folks won't be taking Monday's MLK Day holiday off...from 6 a.m. til 1 p.m., the southbound lanes of Clyde Fant between Lake and Preston will be closed for filming...and traffic will be interrputed on the northbound lanes there.
