Water Main Repairs to Cause Traffic Issues in Shreveport

Shreveport's Department of Water and Sewerage will be repairing a water main and a sanitary sewer manhole on Midway this week.

This will temporarily affect traffic until the work is completed. The street will be closed during the repairs, which will begin at 8 a.m. Wednesday, January 22nd, and wrap up by Monday, February 3rd.

Here are some detour routes:

Cars and small trucks - Midway to Mansfield, Mansfield to Woodford, Woodford to Hearne, Hearne to Midway

Large trucks - Midway to Mansfield, Mansfield to Claiborne, Claiborne to Hearne, Hearne to Midway
