Veterans Town Hall Meeting Set for Longview

Overton Brooks VA Medical Center is hosting a Town Hall and outreach event in east Texas this week.

It's set for Thursday, January 21, from 5-6 p.m. at the Longview Community Based Outpatient Clinic, 1005 N. Eastman Road. Veterans and their families, congressional and senatorial stakeholders, Veteran Service Organizations, local media partners and other groups in the community are invited to attend.

This is an open forum during which hospital leaders will listen to stakeholders' thoughts, concerns and ideas. It's also an opportunity for OBVAMC to build and strengthen its commitment to ensuring service members, veterans, families and other beneficiaries have a chance to share their experiences, both positive and negative.

VA Outreach Services and special program representatives will be onhand to assist veterans with VA health care enrollment and eligibility, benefits and claims, patient advocate services and more.
