An overnight shooting in west Shreveport leaves two teenagers wounded.

Police Corporal Marcus Hines tells KEEL News an SUV had just left the Wal-Mart on Pines Road, and was headed east on I-20, when a maroon Ford Crown Victoria pulled up alongside it. Whoever was inside that vehicle fired shots into the SUV, striking two passengers.

The front seat passenger, identified as 18-year-old Tyreon Woodard, suffered wounds that were initially thought to be critical. Hines tells us Woodard is now in stable condition at University Health. A back seat passenger, 19-year-old Christopher Jackson, was grazed on the leg by a bullet. He was treated at University Health and released.

Authorities have tentatively identified at least one of the suspects they believe was involved in this crime and are working at this hour to obtain a warrant for his arrest. Call Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers at 673-7373 if you have any additional information that can help.
