Shreveport Police Arrest Man in Drive-By Shooting Incident
On August 8th, 2023, at 10:12 p.m., Shreveport Police officers responded to a shots fired call in the 6600 block of Quilen Boulevard.
Arriving officers found that a vehicle driven by a residence in the 6600 block of Quilen Boulevard discharged a firearm at a residence. The residence was struck multiple times causing windows to break.
Shortly after the shots were fired, members of the Shreveport Police Patrol located a possible suspect and the suspected firearm used.
Investigators with the Violent Crimes and Crime Scene Units were summoned to the scene. Through their ongoing investigation detectives were able to obtain information that led them to determine that Corenthon Marshall (5/25/2004) was believed responsible for the shooting. The firearm seized was a high-capacity rifle.
Marshall was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated property damage and one count of illegal use of a weapon. Thankfully no one was injured during this senseless act of violence.
